I posted Lisette and Steven’s {teaser} months ago and now and finally sharing their fun engagement shoot in St. Petersburg.  Gorgeous weather, light and people made for some great photos!  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!

Back at the end of the fall I was super busy with photo sessions and weddings.  Since I knew that I’d be having a baby in early March and not as active behind the camera, I held several sessions back to share with you now.  SO…here is one that is fun and unique.  Sean and Ana wanted a non-traditional wedding day…just the two of them, in St. Petersburg, Ana in her favorite color…which was not white.  Sean’s parents and sister ended up joining us for their ceremony in Sunken Gardens but before that, we went all around downtown St. Petersburg capturing fun moments of the bride and groom on their wedding day.

Enjoy!

When I think back to Alicia and Tony’s wedding, similar to what I am guessing their guests will remember – I think of fun bright ribbons, confetti, glow-sticks, cotton candy, an amazingly upbeat first dance, and I just smile.  The weather worked pretty well for us.  It rained a lot…but right after the ceremony there was about 20 minutes of dry time for wedding party photos . . . and then right at the end of the reception, there was time for their exit before the skies opened and poured!!

It truly was a beautiful wedding perfectly planned by this fun couple.  While I typically post more photos of the getting ready process…there are just too many other, better photos of details that they handcrafted that I wanted to share…and so that this post would not be 100 photos long, I left those out.
.
I hope you enjoy these college sweethearts’ special day.

Finishing up editing photos from this fun couple’s wedding so that I can share them with you!  This image stood out and I couldn’t help myself.

Carrie and Steve’s intimate December wedding took place outdoors at night in the Sunken Gardens Courtyard before heading inside for a dance-filled reception.  She was a gorgeous bride who soaked up every moment of her wedding day.  And he was one happy groom, excited to be marrying the love of his life.

Enjoy!

Carrie’s precious sons were so excited to see their beautiful momma!

And then the sun went down…and was time for the ceremony: Newly weds: And the reception: In place of a guestbook, they used a canvas print!!  Such a fun idea. And then . . . it was dancing time . . .
