How could you not have an amazing shoot when you combine to-die-for scenery with a beautiful family? Seriously – I had so much fun trotting through this beautiful Peruvian field with the Daniel family in mid-December.
Mark, Rachel, Hannah, Eli, Hank, Abe and Reide moved to Cuzco in August to live as long-term missionaries through Mission to the World. They are here with a handful of other families, serving at La Fuente Clinic in San Jeronimo. Rachel was thrilled to find out that I was a photographer because in their whirlwind short stint in the US, between moving from Costa Rica (where they lived for a year to learn Spanish) to Peru, they did not have a chance for family photos – and Reide, their six month old, had yet to have some professional prints. I was thrilled to be back behind the camera in a family photo session!
Lots and lots of photos to love from this session:

Haha…Abe’s face says it all in the next two photos:

The boys (above) and daddy with his newest little girl (below).

I just love the photo of Hannah above. Beautifully content!

So the next series makes me laugh. Each of the four older kids had a chance to take one nice photo and one goofy photo. Both Eli and Hank did the same thing for their goofiness.

Rachel and Mark have photos of each of their children in the tub below at 6 months old. While we were not in a studio with a white backdrop like the other four, I don’t think we can really complain about Reide’s bathtub shots:

My first family shoot where we had to move because of bulls or we were distracted because of sheep. Haha.
