Daniel Jeffrey Hart was born at 10:14am on July 7th, 2011.  He weighed 7lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 inches long.  Sarah and Michael had decided that they were going to wait until their baby was born to find out the sex…so, the baby was born and the parents waited eagerly for the nurse to show them their little one – “it’s a boy!” they said together.   He was literally a surprise little bundle.

(so, dad said that he did not want his son wearing a bonnet…that one day, looking back on these photos, he would say “why did you let them do that to me?”  at least now he’ll know that he protested!!
