“these are days . . .

December 26, 2010

. . . that you’ll remember.

Never before and never since,

I promise.

Will the whole world be warm as this,

And as you feel it.

You’ll know it’s true,

that you,

are blessed and lucky.

It’s true

that you,

are touched by something,

that will grow and bloom

in you.”

I have a few families that I have been waiting to post until after Christmas – just so I would not ruin the surprise of their cards.  But since Christmas has come and gone, it’s time to share them with you!  I’ll start with the Lynn and her family.  They were the first shoot that I did after the change in daylight savings time, so I wasn’t sure what time to tell them to meet me.  We ended up having way more time than I typically like to have before sunset, but it was fun to get to take some extra photos and throw the football around for awhile at the end.

The shoot included Lynn’s family: her husband Mike, two sons Reese and Andrew and pretty sheltie Patches.  Her parents Nan and Lee and her brother Doug and his adorable kids Parker and Emma and their cute labrodoodle Millie.  It was quite a fun group and I think we got some great shots.

Enjoy!  (And if you’re in the snow, as I am right now, imagine the beauty of a Florida beach for some warmth).

Parker and Emma with Millie.  Too Cute!

I {heart} this cousin shot . . .

. . . and this grandkids and grandparents one too:

Sweet sets of siblings . . .

These were taken when we were escaping the way-too bright sun:

And when we were finished, it was time for everyone to play:

Lynn and family – thank you!  You were a joy to work with, so flexible and patient and fun!  Hope that you had a great holiday!
