I’ve known this pretty girl since we were little . . . and forever she has talked about being a bride. Her time is now here, and she is going to look gorgeous as she marries her love Josh. Stacey and Josh share a love for spending time on the water, so naturally, the bay was the perfect place to take their engagement photos . . . celebrating their decision to “take the plunge”.
We had a small plan when we headed out that day and ended up changing some of it when Josh made the very true statement: “We’re on a boat, we need to take advantage of taking photos where you cannot get to by car.” Naturally, we ended up under the Gandy Bridge . . .
. . .for incredible lighting. . .

. . . lots of goofing around . . .

. . . time on the boat . . .

(I don’t think that the boat’s name could be more perfect for people who are getting ready to get married!)

. . . and on “the ruins” . . . (which I still think is SO cool)

And as the sun began to set and we started to get worried about the boats making it back to shore, they decided to take their plunge:

(Props to my hubby for capturing the image above with the rebel and the 70-200…I’ve found my new side shooter!)
The real plunge will be taken in April! I am so excited to get to capture their big day! Love you friends!

[...] incredibly talented Angelique of Salty Sisters also happens to be one of Stacey’s bridemaids – which made it perfect when she decided to host a shower for her friend. [...]

[...] Stacey and Josh had one of the most perfectly put together weddings I have ever seen. It was a historic-Tampa inspired wedding with a southern twist and a flash of yellow and magenta that brought everything together perfectly. They were married in Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in South Tampa and held their reception at the historic Italian Club in Ybor City. [...]
