When Jan and I discussed her family photos, she told me that she wanted to get some of her immediate family, as well as her brother’s family and all families together with her mother. To my surprise, when I walked into their home “her mother” was Mrs. Johnson, my seventh grade geography teacher. It was so great to see her!! I told her that I still remembered her bringing pictures to class from a trip she took to Machu Picchu and that ever since then, I had wanted to visit Peru . . . which I still have not yet done, but I digress.
Anyway, it truly was my pleasure to photograph Jan’s stunningly beautiful daughters, Sally and Reece, her husband, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew and beautiful mother. This family likes to laugh and they like to play. Their comfort with one another, their forever playfulness and fun, and their love was such a joy to capture through the lens of my camera. I hope that you enjoy looking at their photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
We started out at the Gorrie’s home . . .
. . . and then headed to the beach . . .
. . . for some various group and individual family shots . . .
(these sisters are gorgeous!)
(i love this photo of reese.)
(this one is probably my favorite of the day.)
. . . and some rock skipping.
beautiful and {sassy} women!
Jan and family, you guys are awesome! THANK YOU for a great evening!
